Kerry and Danielle participated in the Flying Arts Curator Development Program (2014-15) an initiative run by Flying Arts Alliance Inc. that builds curatorial expertise and is lead by a distinguished professional curator.
The program results in a public exhibition, held at the Judith Wright Centre of Contemporary Arts ‘Shopfront’ space in Brisbane. The exhibition, Planes of Reality showcased the work of seven contemporary Queensland artists who explore notions of alternate perspectives and fictional worlds. For further information on the exhibition visit the curatorsinspace blog.
For this project Kerry consulted with the curatorial team, Flying Arts and the Judith Wright Centre to create a graphic identity reflective of the exhibition theme and colours predominant in the artist’s works.
A suite of collateral was required including a logo, graphic identity, catalogue, invitation and event signage. The catalogue was printed on satin paper stock, serving as a document of the exhibition and Opening Night event memento.
